5 Tricks To Stay Hydrated

No matter what season it is, staying hydrated can be a challenge. Everything we do throughout the day requires water intake. We must replenish in order to stay hydrated and healthy!

Think about this, just by sleeping, based on the humidity of our breath, we lose approximately 1 liter of water every night. That’s why experts recommend drinking a liter of water every morning on an empty stomach before you dig into a plateful of breakfast. Not only will this liter of water help rehydrate your body after a deep sleep, but it will also help to purify your body making it easier for your body to absorb the nutrients you give to your body throughout the day.

Other than filling your body with water, having it with h2 supplements molecular hydrogen will greatly increase the hydrating effects of the water.

Since most people perspire about 2 cups of water per day, in addition to sleeping, the simple acts of breathing, and performance, the average adult loses a total of 2-3 liters of water per day!

In order for our muscles to contract, nerves to transmit signals, and the heart to beat properly, electrolytes MUST be maintained in proper balance. Without replenishment of electrolytes, the body cannot maintain adequate fluid balance and hydration levels. This can lead to less effective workouts, muscle cramping, arrhythmias, edema, and fatigue.

There are many other ways to keep hydration in check. Here are some of our favorites!

Take H2 molecular hydrogen tablets

Over 500 studies have shown that hydrogen-rich water provides a lot more health benefits than regular tap water, bottled water, or reverse osmosis water – well, basically it’s healthier than ANY other type of water on the planet, and keeps you hydrated for longer.

Eat To Hydrate

Eating versus drinking to hydrate may sound silly, but there are many foods that can help keep you hydrated too. Water-rich fruits and vegetables are excellent choices all year round, so you better start filling your plate!

Watermelon is one of the best foods for hydration as it is made up of 92% water. This is probably why it’s a staple at summer BBQs! Other water-rich foods include fruits such as strawberries, peaches, oranges, and cantaloupe, and vegetables such as cucumbers, lettuce, zucchini, and celery.

Flavor Your Water

Water is certainly refreshing, but not everyone is a fan of the plain flavor. A great trick to getting more water into your daily diet is to flavor your water naturally. Mint, lemon, and cucumber are one of our favorite combos! But virtually any fruit can be added to your bottle of water to give it some added flavor. Plus, this trick also allows you to infuse your water with healthy vitamins and nutrients as well as adding H2 life-extending molecular hydrogen to keep you even more hydrated.

Dress Appropriately

The way you dress greatly impacts your hydration level. It is recommended in the heat to dress in light color loose clothing. The loose clothing allows your skin to breathe while the light color combats the absorption of heat making it a cooler choice.

It is also advised to wear a wide-brim hat which can work as shade if you are in the direct sun. Also, remember to sunscreen when you get dressed to go outside for the day. A sunburn will increase your skin’s temperature, making your body use more of its water source to keep you cool.

Don’t Wait To Drink

Most of us wait until we’re thirsty to take a sip. Don’t! Being ahead of your thirst is a great way to STAY hydrated rather than having to RE-hydrate.

Carrying a water bottle with you wherever you go is a great constant reminder to drink. Just be sure to refill your bottle before you leave the house or the office so that you always have enough by your side. Setting a goal such as filling up your water bottle and draining it 3 times throughout the day can help keep you motivated and mindful of your water intake.

By staying hydrated throughout your day, you’ll definitely feel the difference in how your body moves and thinks. Water is a vital part of our everyday functioning, so don’t let it deplete.
